Gay Pride was a lot of fun yesterday. The parade was the longest its ever been. I think it must have lasted over an hour and a half. MM marched in it with the other hundred UUs. We also got a bunch of cool beads, including one that had a condom holder with an illustration of a penis. Very cool.Then after the parade we ended up at the Block Party which actually turned out to be a good time. Me and SC got free Asti Spumanti t-shirts by trying their new single serving champagne. Yum.
MM, JN and SC all had quite a bit to drink. While we were dancing JN knocked a drink out of MM's hand and then decided to mop up the dance floor with paper napkins.
Later on, MM kept on saying, "don't leave," and then proceeded to bump and grind
up against SC. At one point, JN even got up behind MM and it became a whole bumping and grinding line, but with SC just standing there baffled, and me standing alongside sipping water.
The walk home from the Block Party was equally amusing in which SC had a very hard time walking. But she did a pretty good job of trying to appear sober. She only dropped our bottle of water on the sidewalk twice. We stopped in the park and ate hot dogs and then meandered along the Comm Ave Mall back to my house.
