Going back to work after a week's vacation can be kind of hard. It is especially difficult when you have gotten used to having three meals a day and all the lazing around you could possibly want.Sydney has been extra affecionate as of late. I am enjoying all the purring, face rubbing, and extra kitty loving I've been receiving. She must have really missed us while were away.
During our first night in Punta Cana, we had dinner at Los Atabeles, one of the restaurants at the resort. Most of the restaurants were open air so it wasn't uncommon for animals, like peacocks, to come strolling through the dining room.
So on this first night a skinny kitty approached us as we were walking to our table. It was the scrawniest little thing, but seemed amiable since it was meowing. So of course, I held out my hand and said "Hey kitty! Come over here!"
The response I received was not so friendly after all. I was met with a big hiss and glaring teeth. I decided it would be best to run along.
Scary Dominican kitty. It definitely wasn't like my cute Sydney.
