SC and I spent a lovely weekend in Newport. We stayed at a really nice bed and breakfast called the Almondy Inn. Evelyn, one of the innkeepers was wonderful and made the yummiest breakfasts. It also turns out that her daughter lived in my building until recently. Small world, eh? Yesterday we explored the Breakers, Marblehouse and the Elms. They were all decorated for the holidays and that was cute. It was my third time at the Breakers and my second time at both the Marblehouse and the Elms. It was SC's first time at all three and she especially enjoyed them. We hope to return next spring/summer when the other mansions are open for viewing.
